Update, rules clarifications

Hey folks! We've cleaned up a few more things, with the help of readers—thanks for that! There may be more tweaking before the print edition. For now, here's what's changed in Hard Wired Island (plus one or two things I made up to trick you into reading it):

  • Various typos and formatting fixes
  • Fixed a few things in the TOC
  • Updated the Grand Cross Legends tables (the ones with the Kickstarter-backer-submitted NPCs) to include a couple I was finally sent. If you backed to add an NPC and you never got around to it, it's not too late! The table is the same length because I was using characters from Breakfast Cult as placeholders, so if you miss the NPCs that got removed, now you know where to find them
  • The Chapter 7 bookmarks have returned from their Lunar vacation, nice and refreshed
  • Character creation should be a little clearer, especially when it comes to Cash
  • Social situation example now follows the rules correctly
  • Ditched some text in the Cybernetics section that wasn't needed in the final cut
  • The ending of the Dreamer Season arc as-written clashed with some of the plot hooks leading up to that point, so it's got some adjustments that should make it work way better
  • Removed the "Original Character Do Not Steal" Origin for further playtesting
  • Trying to ride the Metro to Space Town will no longer take you to Kota Angkasa or Taikong Cheng instead
  • Fixed integer underflow error behind the "Nuclear Burger Kong" incident
  • Reminding Hotel Melbourne members that Captain Cook got murked trying to kidnap the King of Hawaii no longer causes them to laugh for ten solid hours
  • Fixed a bug where registering on Omega Point with the username "Wife Uploader" would make you an admin
  • Fixed the hidden OST tracks "Hacker Voice I'm In", "The Ballad of Miami Mike", and "Trouble And Her Polycule"

Being reminded of captain Cook getting murked just makes me laugh for eleven solid hours now. Nice.
